Pumping up the B Strong pneumatic leg cuffs in preparation for some BFR training!
I’ve been using the B Strong system on myself along with my patients and clients since 2019. While there are numerous blood flow restriction devices and companies out there, B Strong has earned my top recommendation for a few critical reasons:
- The system is designed by a team of leading medical professionals and has been proven via real-time ultrasound to be a safe system. This gives me maximal peace of mind when using the system on others.
- The pneumatic system is much more precise than simple cinch-up bands and way less expensive than automated systems such as the KAATSU system or the Delphi system (great systems, but designed more for clinical use).
- My B Strong system has held up very well over years of use on myself and dozens of patients and clients whom I work with.
Goblet squats become a lot tougher when undergoing a BFR protocol!
Of course, there are likely some other solid BFR systems out there; however, I haven’t used them (because I really haven’t had the need to), so I’m not willing to recommend anything else other than what I’m entirely familiar and confident with. So, my top recommendation is the B Strong system!

I love the fact that the B Strong system has the ability to be stored and transported in a hardshell case - this has come in handy for me numerous times when transporting it from one location to another!
